To what extent is the question.
I used a ref for the shape of the face and the markings on the face and a general Idea of how a tiger would look and feel

now once I had that down I made everything else from scratch, so basically the pose i came up with, the lance if of my design, the expression and all other details. I'm very proud of my work :D

also, why do you ask?
